Job Summary

GROVEHILL INVESTMENTS INC. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste.
  • Staff Management: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring a high-performing team that meets our quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budgets and cost estimates, ensuring accurate financial planning and management.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and minimizing overtime.
Supervision
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 people.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 38 to 40 hours per week.
