Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Canam Security Services. As a Security Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedules of security personnel to ensure adequate coverage and effective use of resources.
- Client Support: Assist clients with special needs, providing personalized support and ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Emergency Response: Serve as the primary point of contact in emergency situations, responding promptly and effectively to ensure the safety of all parties involved.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and effective collaboration.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit progress reports, providing detailed information on security operations and personnel performance.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of security personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Training and Development: Train security personnel in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Certifications and Licenses: Ensure that all security personnel hold the necessary certifications and licenses, including the Security Guard License.
- Work Environment: Ensure that the work environment is safe and healthy, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Experience: Have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Cultural Competency: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers, refugees, youth, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
