Risk Advisory Services Senior Consultant

BDO Canada LLP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant, Risk Advisory Services to join our Risk Advisory team in Ottawa.
The Risk Advisory team identifies and assesses the most significant risks facing our clients, helping them understand and mitigate their impact on business and operations.
As a Senior Consultant, you will analyze emerging trends in risk management, business, and governance, and develop strategies to help clients leverage these trends as opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with engagement teams to plan and deliver internal audits and risk advisory projects
- Gather and review information to inform risk assessments and audit programs
- Support engagement teams in developing high-quality client deliverables
- Maintain a proactive and logical approach to information gathering and analysis
- Ensure high-quality client service through daily progress and communication of updates
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in internal audit, risk, or related settings
- Bilingual in French and English (an asset)
- Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Ability to diagnose project issues, build solutions, and draft impactful communications
