Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Rapid Transport is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, adhering to company and regulatory standards.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of goods and materials.
  • Meet or exceed company standards for safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a long haul truck driver.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
