Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Alberta Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting cargo across international routes, ensuring the safety and security of the cargo, and maintaining the condition of the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes
  • Inspect and maintain the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Driver logbook
  • Driving record check (abstract)
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, often on the road for extended periods. You will be required to work 40 to 60 hours per week, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
