GOLDEN WHEELS TRANSPORT LTD. is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver.
- Licenses and Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), and a valid passport.
- Work Environment: Various locations, including highways, roads, and terminals.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
