Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Operate and maintain a tractor-trailer combination, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip, checking for any damage or issues.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working on the road, driving a tractor-trailer combination across the country. You will be required to spend extended periods away from home, often overnight.
