Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Long Term Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Radiant Care Pleasant Manor. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional well-being.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time, permanent position that requires a 30-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care to residents, including activities of daily living, and will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and efficient personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the ADOC/DOC
Requirements:
  • Training and education in caring for seniors in long-term care
  • Demonstrated experience in caring for seniors in long-term care
  • Current CPR Certification an asset
  • Valid PSW Certification
