We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at 5054801 Ontario Limited. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Supply and empty bed pans and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Serve meal trays and assist patients with feeding and hydration.
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care and attention to their needs.
  • Maintain patients' rooms and ensure they are clean and tidy.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide support and encouragement.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that all necessary equipment is available.
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients with dignity and respect.
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Answer call signals and respond to patients' needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collect specimens and prepare them for laboratory analysis.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and provide basic life support.
Certifications and Qualifications
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate are required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • The work is physically demanding and requires attention to detail.
  • The work term is permanent and the work language is English.
  • The work hours are 32 hours per week.
