Hourly Wage Range: $25.77

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team at Radiant Care Pleasant Manor. As a PSW, you will provide safe and efficient personal care and homemaking services to our tenants, ensuring their physical, social, recreational, spiritual, and psychological well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and homemaking services to tenants, including activities of daily living (IADLS and ADLS)
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, staff, and families
  • Provide excellent customer service in a respectful and courteous manner
  • Adapt to changing needs of tenants and adjust service delivery as required
  • Observe and report changes in tenant status
  • Record necessary data on tenant health and service provision
  • Share responsibility for care of equipment and personal belongings
  • Work co-operatively with team members
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and training sessions

Requirements:

  • Training and education in caring for seniors in a community setting
  • Demonstrated experience in caring for seniors in a community setting
  • Current CPR Certification an asset
  • Valid PSW Certification
