About the Role

MSS MACHINING & FABRICATION INC. is seeking a skilled Machine Setup Specialist to join our team. As a Machine Setup Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting production machineries/tools to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality products.
  • Quality Control: Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Manufacturing Support: Assist in the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with production staff to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Skills: Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Work Environment

The Machine Setup Specialist will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a large workload. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and maintain a high level of productivity.

Language and Work Hours

The Machine Setup Specialist will work 30 hours per week and will be required to communicate in English. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is able to work collaboratively with production staff and management to achieve production targets.
