About the Role

MSS MACHINING & FABRICATION INC. is seeking a skilled Machine Setup Specialist to join our team. As a Machine Setup Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting production machineries/tools to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality products.
  • Quality Control: Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Manufacturing Support: Assist in the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal production levels.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with production staff to ensure smooth production processes and meet customer requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
