About the Role

MSS MACHINING & FABRICATION INC. is seeking a skilled Machine Setup Specialist to join our team. As a Machine Setup Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting production machineries/tools to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality products.
  • Quality Control: Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Task Management: Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts, read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
