Job Overview

The Night Houseperson is a vital member of our housekeeping team, responsible for ensuring the public areas of our hotel are clean, tidy, and welcoming to our guests. Key Responsibilities

  • Attention to Detail - Conduct regular walks of assigned areas to ensure public spaces are clean and well-maintained, reporting any issues or missing items to management.
  • Organizational Skills - Maintain assigned areas in a clean and stocked condition, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Team Player - Assist guests and colleagues as needed, demonstrating a willingness to pitch in and support the team.
  • Housekeeping Ambassador - Provide warm greetings and excellent customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay is enjoyable and memorable.
  • Safety and Security - Adhere to hotel safety and security policies and procedures, anticipating potential issues and reporting them to management as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need basic English communication skills and prior housekeeping experience. You must be able to safely operate equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor buffers, as well as the chemicals used to maintain and clean the hotel. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to stand for long periods and work in variable temperatures and noise levels.
