Job Title: Evening Houseperson

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Evening Houseperson to join our housekeeping team at the Hampton Inn and Suites, Dartmouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the public areas of the hotel are clean and tidy, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on Details: Conduct regular walks of the assigned areas to ensure they are clean and tidy, reporting any missing or damaged items to management.
  • Be Organized: Maintain a clean and stocked environment, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and organized.
  • Be a Team Player: Assist guests and colleagues as needed, providing a warm and welcoming experience for all.
  • Be a Housekeeping Ambassador: Greet guests with a smile and provide assistance as needed, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Be a Safety & Security Agent: Follow hotel safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any incidents or concerns to management.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need basic English communication skills and prior housekeeping experience. You must be able to safely operate equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Working Conditions:

This role requires standing for long periods and working in variable temperatures and noise levels.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this role is $15.00.
