Evening Houseperson

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Night Houseperson to join our housekeeping team at the Hampton Inn and Suites, Dartmouth. As a Night Houseperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the public areas of the hotel are clean and tidy, and that all areas are well-stocked and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and Clean Public Areas: Walk the assigned halls to ensure the lobby, restrooms, corridors, and other public areas are clean and free of clutter.
- Maintain Stock Levels: Ensure that all areas assigned to you are kept stocked with necessary supplies and cleaning equipment.
- Provide Excellent Guest Service: Greet guests warmly and assist them with any needs or requests.
- Follow Safety and Security Protocols: Adhere to hotel safety and security policies and procedures, and report any incidents or concerns to management.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other housekeeping team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements:
- Basic English Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Prior Housekeeping Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
