As a Warranty Claims Processor, you will work closely with the Warehouse, Safety, and Shop teams to manage complete and accurate processing of warranty claims.

You will be expected to contribute to the operational efficiency of the Service Department.

The incumbent will also be responsible for analyzing transaction history in our system, reconciling, and preparing weekly/monthly reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily reviews of all completed truck repairs and determine repairs covered under warranty.
  • Submit warranty claims through manufacturers' websites and follow up on claims.
  • Track and document damaged inventory received from suppliers for reimbursement or credit.
  • Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility according to the applicable policies and procedures manual.
  • Check each repair order against the truck's service history to avoid making duplicate claims.
  • Maintain a record of all claims submitted, returned/rejected, or paid and the current status.
  • Provide a daily report to the Service Manager regarding claims status.
  • Review all returned and/or rejected warranty claims and prepare repair orders for immediate resubmission.

Requirements:

  • A post-secondary diploma in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • Inventory management experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office are required.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
