Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Blends & Bites Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that our menu offerings are consistently of the highest quality.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that our operations are financially sustainable.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and improvement.
  • Prepare and submit reports, ensuring that our operations are transparent and accountable.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that our staff are well-supported and able to meet the demands of our busy restaurant environment.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Physical stamina to work in a standing environment for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
