Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Fat Bastard Burrito Co. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Work Environment:

  • Noisy and hot work environment.
  • Restaurant setting.

  • Criminal record check required.
