Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Mucho Burrito. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high standards of quality and freshness
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring excellent presentation and quality control
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, exceeding customer expectations
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize downtime

Work Environment:

Our fast-paced kitchen environment requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent standing for extended periods. You will also be required to bend, crouch, and kneel to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
