Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer - Salesforce to join our team. As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and configuring business platforms to meet the specific needs of our organization. This will involve programming, configuring settings, and integrating various software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce and experience in building Salesforce reports and dashboards. They will also be experienced in Salesforce SOQL queries and using Salesforce administration tools such as Workbench and Data Loader. Additionally, they will have experience in writing Salesforce APEX code and be familiar with the Life Sciences/Pharma industry.

The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with team members within the subdivision and across other digital and business units. They will also be able to engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and configure business platforms to meet the specific needs of our organization.
  • Ensure seamless integration between different business platforms and systems.
  • Regularly monitor the performance of business platforms and identify bottlenecks.
  • Provide technical support to platform users and resolve issues.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to various initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting and configuring Salesforce applications at a life science company.
  • Experienced in building Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Experienced in Salesforce SOQL queries and using Salesforce administration tools.
  • Experience in writing Salesforce APEX code.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Strong understanding of Life Sciences/Pharma industry.
  • Cross-Cultural Experience: Ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
Working Environment

This position is remote and based in Canada. We offer a hybrid working solution allowing time to connect with colleagues at the office with the flexibility to also work from home.
