Platform Engineer, Enterprise Platforms

Astellas Pharma Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team in Canada. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization.
Our agile operating model consists of two components – Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution focuses on aligning multiple missions around business goals and facilitating collaboration on a larger scale. Digital Capability, on the other hand, focuses on the growth and development of individuals within a specific expertise area.
This role involves a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the specific platforms that drive business functions such as CRM, ERP, and SCM. The goal is to ensure these platforms are optimized to support business goals, enhance efficiency, and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and configure business platforms to meet the specific needs of our organization.
- Ensure seamless integration between different business platforms and systems.
- Regularly monitor the performance of business platforms, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Provide technical support to platform users, resolve issues, and conduct training sessions to ensure users can effectively utilize the platforms.
- Actively participate in and contribute to various initiatives, applying your specialized skills to achieve the objectives and expected Value.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g., Computer Science, Data Science.
- Demonstrated experience in specific area of digital capability.
- Business Process Understanding: Knowledge of key business processes and how enterprise platforms and systems support these processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, e.g., SF, CPI, SAC, XML, Azure Dev Ops, ALM test tool, Service Now ticketing tool.
