HVAC Sales Representative

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing projects, negotiating and landing work, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and land work, ensuring a strong understanding of the job market.
- Provide feedback to the estimating team on bids and pricing, including workload forecasting.
- Assist engineers with product selection and layout projects.
- Review purchase orders and bid documents to optimize profitability.
- Create PBY files for the support team to issue submittals.
- Process orders from customer lists in the absence of the support team.
- Manage and process change orders and site instructions, including pricing.
- Resolve discrepancies with customers or site contacts.
- Track orders and deliveries, providing ETA to customers.
- Notify customers when orders arrive and arrange delivery if required.
- Close out projects once complete, ensuring full invoicing and maintenance documentation.
- Provide quotes for jobs not listed on the bid boards, including email requests.
- Enter quotes with proper association to product codes, as illustrated in the branch's handbook.
- Train staff in all phases of the sales process to ensure continuity of expected service levels.
- Provide outstanding customer service, with a customer-first approach to business.
- Consistently improve the quality of service to meet client expectations and minimize costs.
- Ensure adequate service levels and conduct review studies to determine cause, effect, and corrective actions.
- Self-educate and attend manufacturer's factory/training visits to stay up-to-date on the latest product developments and software tools.
- Build sustainable customer relationships and trust through open communication.
- Represent the company at site meetings as required.
- Assist in customer events, such as open houses, sporting events, lunches, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, creative, and resourceful.
- Ready to bring positivity, energy, and enthusiasm to the workplace.
- Professional approach to business and the workplace.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, unsupervised.
- Strong work ethic guided by personal integrity and mutual respect.
