**Job Summary**

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Specialist for Concurrent Disorders to join our team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and youth struggling with concurrent disorders.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide specialized services to youth between the ages of 13 and 18, and potentially to 21 years of age, with moderate to severe addiction(s) to substances and accompany mental health issues.
  • Develop and facilitate groups and other programming to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Conduct client and environmental assessments, patient care planning, intervention and care delivery, patient support toward goal achievement, care evaluation, family support, and development and facilitation of groups and other programming.
  • Work collaboratively with an interprofessional team to provide comprehensive care to clients.

**Requirements**

  • Three (3) year College Diploma in Child and Youth Care.
  • Membership in the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Counsellors in good standing.
  • Experience working with concurrent disordered youth in a substance abuse treatment program is an asset.
  • Strong skills in group facilitation, assessment, intake, individual support and working with families.
  • Knowledge of best practice and evidence-based addictions and mental health treatment models is essential.
