About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our Seniors Care team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.

You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide assessment, care planning, and intervention to seniors in the community setting. Your excellent interpersonal and written communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with patients, family, and caregivers to maximize function and independence.

About You

We are looking for a Physiotherapist with a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university. Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists is also required. Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook, are essential. Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS) is also necessary.

Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are an asset. Please ensure your resume is up-to-date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $33.97 to $42.89 hourly, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract.
