About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in the Western Zone, specifically at Soldiers Memorial Hospital. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, as well as membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required, and proficiency in other languages, particularly French, is an asset.

This is a permanent, part-time position with a 100% FTE, 75 hours bi-weekly schedule. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required. The successful candidate will be eligible for our benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.

Successful candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract.
