About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Seniors Care team in the Western Zone. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, families, and caregivers to provide assessment, care planning, and intervention to seniors in the community setting.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in physiotherapy, with experience working with seniors and individuals with complex needs. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients who present with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.

We are looking for a Physiotherapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and is committed to working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team. If you have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach, we encourage you to apply.

About You

We are seeking a Physiotherapist who meets the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
  • Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists (Provincial licensing body)
  • Computer skills (statistics input, word processing, Outlook)
  • Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS)
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
  • Permanent Full-time, 100% FTE, 75 Hours Bi-weekly
  • Evening/weekend/holidays may be required
Compensation and Incentives

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary range of $33.97 - $42.89 hourly. In addition, successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.

Successful candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract.
