About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to seniors. As a Physiotherapist in our Rehabilitation Services department, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, as well as membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists. You should also have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, as well as computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
  • Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
  • Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook
  • Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS)
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Working Conditions

This is a permanent part-time position, with 75 hours bi-weekly. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.

Compensation and Incentives

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of $33.97 - $42.89, as well as eligibility for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
