About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at High Rollers. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate food and supply costs, and maintain accurate records of inventory and consumption.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks and specialist chefs, to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new menu items and cooking techniques, and maintain a high level of culinary expertise.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and banquets, ensuring exceptional service and quality.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff, and maintain a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, and ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, and maintain a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
