Dental Fraud Management Lead

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Dental Fraud Management team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in identifying and mitigating fraudulent activities within our dental claims process.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of dental investigators, ensuring the timely completion of audits and investigations, and championing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. They will also monitor emerging trends in dental care to identify potential risks of misuse or abuse of dental claims.
- This is a leadership role that requires strong knowledge of dental terminology and expense codes.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience leading a team focused on fraud and abuse management, criminal investigations, or equivalency.
This position is primarily focused on the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and can be based out of Waterloo, Toronto, or Montreal.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead direct reports in executing quality service delivery and support them by providing direction, setting clear expectations, coaching, being available, fostering engagement, and holding individuals accountable for results.
- Apply focus to meeting contractual requirements, and the timely completion of dental audits and investigations.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to deliver on the ever-evolving expectations of our plan members and plan sponsors, and emerging trends related to fraud and abuse matters.
- Dental industry expertise attained through experience as a dental professional.
- University degree or postsecondary education in a related field.
- Experience working within investigations, audit, or policing.
