As a key member of the AAR Corp. leadership team, the Planning Vice President will be responsible for ensuring the successful operation of the facility. This includes overseeing departments, planning, leading, organizing, and managing the facility to develop and implement efficient operations and cost-effective systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with the leadership team to achieve business plan objectives and provide regular reporting. Additionally, they will ensure adherence to policies and procedures, maintain strong relationships with customers and regulatory agencies, and participate in the company's Safety Management System.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives
- Lead and manage the facility's operations, including departments and personnel
- Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure successful implementation of business plans
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and regulatory agencies
- Participate in the company's Safety Management System
Requirements
- Relevant degree or minimum of 12 years of related experience and/or training
- Preferred ACA and Licensed AME
