Executive Director

The Executive Director provides visionary leadership and oversees all operations of the legal and social work clinic. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing strategic planning processes to achieve organizational goals
- Identifying required resources and assessing community needs
- Building positive relationships with clinic teams, law faculty, community partners, the Board of Directors, and Legal Aid Ontario
- Supervising and directing all staff to ensure effective service delivery
- Evaluating potential opportunities and risks related to the clinic's work and finances
- Representing the clinic to the community and media
The successful candidate will possess:
- A strong background in law or social work, with a minimum of five years of experience working with high-needs/vulnerable populations
- Proven experience in managing employees, guiding teams, and supervising volunteers or students
- Experience overseeing office operations, including financial affairs
- Excellent organizational skills and a collaborative approach to social and legal work
- A working literacy of computers and software, including programs like Microsoft Office and Legal Aid Ontario
