Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Associate to join our team at our East Gwillimbury clinic. As an Optical Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients, providing expert advice on eyewear choices, and ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Offer expert advice on eyewear choices, including frame selection and lens options, to ensure patients receive the best possible solution for their needs.
  • Interpret optical prescriptions and perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear.
  • Perform repairs and adjustments to returning patients' eyewear, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment.
  • Previous optical experience is considered an asset.
  • Passionate about customer service and committed to delivering exceptional results.
  • High level of comfort using technology and computers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
