Job Title: Cable Installation Specialist

Advanced Networks is seeking a skilled Cable Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our cable infrastructure, ensuring high-quality connections and optimal network performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Repair and replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers to minimize downtime
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various locations to install and maintain our cable infrastructure
  • Collaborate with our team to complete test and service reports, and instruct apprentices as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including working at heights training and WHMIS certification
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in cable installation and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of coaxial lines, fiber optics, and single-line systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction
  • Flexibility, judgment, and reliability, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
