Bakery Operations Manager

Fairy Sweet is seeking a skilled Bakery Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our bakery operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Production Management: Supervise the preparation and baking of dough, batters, and icings for various sweet goods, including pies, bread, rolls, cakes, and pastries.
- Staff Supervision: Train and manage a team of baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and handling.
- Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
- Customer Service: Prepare special orders and ensure that all products meet customer expectations.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field, with a focus on production management and staff supervision.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Setting: Bake shop environment with a focus on producing high-quality sweet goods.
