Key Responsibilities- Production Management: Supervise and coordinate the production of baked goods, including preparing dough, batters, and icings, and ensuring that all products meet established quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise bakery personnel, including bakers, decorators, and kitchen staff, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to produce high-quality products.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that they meet established standards of cleanliness and safety, and identify and address any quality control issues.
- Customer Service: Prepare special orders and ensure that all products are presented in a visually appealing manner to meet customer expectations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a bakery or related field
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures.
