Key Responsibilities- Production Management: Supervise and coordinate the production of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes, to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and materials to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our products meet our high standards of quality and safety.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of bakery staff, including bakers, decorators, and sales staff, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the bakery, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a bakery or related field
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced bakery environment, with regular exposure to flour, sugar, and other baking ingredients. The candidate will also be required to work in a team environment and to be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
