Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Assistant to join our team at Charles MacPherson Associates. As a key member of our household staff, you will provide exceptional support to our principal, ensuring their daily needs are met with discretion and professionalism.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, be punctual, courteous, and have keen attention to detail. You will be a self-starter with an anticipatory, service-oriented disposition, able to read a room and anticipate needs. Your organizational skills will be solid, with experience and strength in technology and productivity tools like Word and Excel.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage the principal's schedules and calendars with precision and attention to detail

• Plan and coordinate travel arrangements, ensuring seamless execution of itineraries

• Prepare healthy, Mediterranean-inspired meals for the principal, with a focus on complete and satisfying cuisine

• Ensure the principal receives daily medication and maintain accurate records of their health and wellness

• Arrange appointments for personal and professional needs, ensuring timely and efficient execution

• Greet guests and visitors with warmth and professionalism, handling correspondence and mail with discretion

• Maintain household inventories and implement organizational strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity

• Ensure all household mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, equipment, and fixtures are in good working order

• Assist with the ordering and purchasing of household inventories, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution

• Implement and maintain household security protocols, ensuring the safety and security of the principal and their property

• Run errands and perform necessary tasks, such as grocery shopping, to support the household's daily needs

• Provide care and attention to the household dog, ensuring their needs are met with love and compassion

Applicant Qualities:

• Possess a driver's license and clean driving record, with a strong sense of responsibility and reliability

• Be legally entitled to work in Canada, with a valid passport and necessary documentation

• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Possess a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
