**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Care Manager to join our team at Charles MacPherson Associates. This is a full-time live-in position, requiring the individual to work closely with a principal in their residence in Kingston.

The successful candidate will possess excellent time management skills, be punctual, courteous, and have keen attention to detail. They must also have a sense of boundaries, exercise diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality.

This role involves managing the principal's schedules and calendars, travel planning, daily cooking and food preparation, laundry, ensuring medication is administered, and arranging appointments for personal and professional needs.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an anticipatory service-oriented disposition, possess a valid driver's license, and have a clean driving record.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the principal's schedules and calendars
  • Travel planning, organizing, and coordination
  • Daily cooking and food preparation, focusing on providing complete healthy meals (Mediterranean diet preferred)
  • Laundry for the principal and household
  • Ensure principal receives daily medication
  • Arrange appointments for personal and professional needs
  • Greet guests and visitors, answer telephone, take messages, general mail and correspondence
  • Manage household inventories and implement organizational strategies
  • Ensure all household mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing equipment, and fixtures are in good working order
  • Assist with ordering and purchasing of household inventories
  • Ensure household security protocols are followed
  • Run errands and perform necessary tasks like grocery shopping
  • Assist with care of the household dog

**Ideal Candidate Qualities:**

  • Self-starter with an anticipatory service-oriented disposition
  • Excellent time management skills, punctuality, courtesy, and keen attention to detail
  • Sense of boundaries, diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Licensed to work in Canada
  • Current passport

**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
