We also support Amazon subsidiaries such as IMDB and Audible.

Job Description

We're looking for a talented Frontend Engineer (FEE) to join our team, who is capable of breaking down and solving complex problems. As a Frontend Engineer at Amazon, you'll work on real-world problems on a global scale, owning your products' UX design end-to-end and influencing the direction of our product UX and technology, which impacts hundreds of millions of customers around the world. You'll be a hands-on, pragmatic problem solver who easily balances trade-offs between competing interests, thriving in a fast-moving team environment where you can juggle complex dependencies and requirements while producing optimal solutions. Ambiguity and creativity are both expected and the norm.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year, with a total compensation package that includes equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop innovative frontend solutions that drive customer engagement and conversion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build scalable user interfaces that meet business objectives
- Own the UX design end-to-end, influencing the direction of our product UX and technology
- Work closely with users to create a fly-wheel effect for Amazon teams and customers

Requirements

- 2+ years of non-internship professional front-end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React
- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
