We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Advertiser Experience team in Brand Shopping Experience (BSX). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and be passionate about building scalable and efficient solutions.
Job Description:
The Software Development Engineer will work closely with Product Managers, TPMs, SDEs, and other leaders across BSX to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software services. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing backend and frontend services using various programming languages and technologies.
- BUILDING automated testing frameworks to ensure maximum code quality and reliability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize feature requests and technical requirements.
- Developing and maintaining APIs, components, and UI integrations that meet industry-leading standards.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
