About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chef to join our team at Butter Chicken Factory. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods that showcase our signature South Indian cuisine.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role and possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, as well as ensuring that our kitchen and work areas are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods that meet our high standards.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensure that our kitchen and work areas are clean and well-maintained to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Senior Chef or equivalent role.
  • Excellent leadership and training skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Able to maintain accurate records and perform tasks efficiently.
