Vacation Resort Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a seasoned Vacation Resort Operations Coordinator to join our team at Gill International Travel.
- About the Role:
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing duties that match or exceed those of workers they supervise, as well as providing assistance to clients with special needs.
- This includes coordinating and assigning tasks, reviewing work, hiring and training staff in job duties and safety procedures, maintaining computer systems and equipment, and arranging repairs to ensure business continuity.
- The successful candidate will also requisition materials and supplies as needed.
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of a vacation resort, ensuring seamless delivery of customer services.
- Supervise and mentor staff members to ensure they meet performance expectations and provide excellent service to guests.
- Assist clients with special needs, providing personalized support and accommodations.
- Maintain accurate records of staff performance, attendance, and training requirements.
- Coordinate staff scheduling, time-off requests, and payroll administration.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve staff productivity, morale, and overall resort operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 months' experience in a supervisory role within the travel industry, preferably in a vacation resort setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on finding solutions that meet the needs of all parties involved.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as experience with property management software.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing employment, health and safety, and labor relations.
- Familiarity with standard office equipment, including printers, copiers, and fax machines.
- An estimated salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
