Job DescriptionThis is a key role in the effective and profitable operation of the business. The Customer Service Operations Manager will be responsible for helping with the effective managing and running of the venue's concessions operations.
Responsibilities include assisting in the managing, developing, and mentoring of staff for 5 concessions stands, in-seat service, and vending stations. This also includes actively supervising, coaching, counseling, training, directing, and mentoring employees in meeting company quality standards.
The Customer Service Operations Manager must provide a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency, and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth running of any assigned event.
Additionally, the Customer Service Operations Manager will actively supervise, coach, counsel, train, direct, and mentor employees in meeting company quality standards. They will initiate and authorize all employment actions such as hiring, training, promotion, transfer, discipline, suspension, and termination.
The Customer Service Operations Manager will also oversee the post-event administrative forms and product tracking reports. They will serve as a resource for POS applications, training, and hardware problems.
Other responsibilities include ensuring work environment safety and addressing safety concerns, promoting a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative workplace environment, and maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests.
- Ability to make sound business/operations decisions quickly and under pressure.
- Knowledge of computer applications: Microsoft Office, POS systems, and timekeeping systems.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Possess a thorough working knowledge of all existing concession locations, geographical location, equipment, evacuation procedures, adjacent employee and guest areas, and facility access.
- Possess thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service policies, safety standards, etc.
- Ability to calculate basic math functions as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.
