About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team at 1628939 ONTARIO LTD. as a Financial Record Keeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. Public transportation is available.
