About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at ABS SafeCom Trucking Consultants. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, such as calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and reconciling accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial documents as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
