Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Pharmacy Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy;
- Collaborate with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants to fulfill prescription orders and ensure accurate dispensing;
- Work independently to label and fill/refill prescriptions, and perform a double check for repeat prescription releases;
- Verify that customers receive the correct prescription(s) and identify potential therapeutic issues;
- Work collaboratively with Innomar and ABSG Patient Programs to fulfill pharmacy responsibilities;
- Prepare and process billings, claims, disbursements, and related documents;
- Assist patients with prescription pickup and enter prescriptions into the computer system;
- Screen calls and gather relevant information for the Pharmacist;
- Order, maintain, and prepare inventory of medications;
- Review invoices and other documentation;
- Pack and ship prescription orders;
- Receive and maintain accurate inventory;
- Report Adverse Events in accordance with provincial regulatory standards and internal and contractual obligations;
- The Registered Pharmacy Technician is required to renew their Registration on an annual basis and participate in the Quality Assurance Process on a regular basis as part of their continuing education;
- The Registered Pharmacy Technician will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time;
- May be required to be on standby/on call as part of this role.
- Pharmacy Technician diploma from an accredited college and successful completion of Structured Practical Training or successful completion of British Columbia College of Pharmacists Bridging Program and a Certificate of Registration;
- Two or more years of related pharmacy experience;
- Strong proficiency in Kroll required;
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Bilingualism, French/English is an asset.
