Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Loblaw Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and process customer prescriptions, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate.
- Maintain patient and drug information files, ensuring confidentiality and security.
- Check and verify pharmaceutical products prepared by other technicians or unregulated personnel.
- Prepare prescription labels, affixing them to prescription containers, and reconcile accounts and collect outstanding monies from patients as needed.
- Retrieve, count, pour, weigh, measure, mix, and reconstitute medications, and price prescriptions, prepare receipts, invoices, letters, and general filing.
- Stock medications and related supplies, rotate, and monitor stock, and maintain a perpetual inventory system in Kroll.
- Maintain customer privacy and confidentiality, and effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisors, suppliers, physicians, and customers.
- Registered pharmacy technician certification and maintained registration with the appropriate pharmacy association.
- High level of professionalism, knowledge of professional discipline, technical specialties, and related processes.
- Ability to implement practical procedures of systems that are moderately complex, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle cash accurately, and experience with Kroll an asset.
