Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 CAD per year, with competitive health and dental benefits, as well as exciting company perks.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manager, People and Culture to join our fast-paced and growing business. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with leadership to build and maintain people processes from recruiting to onboarding, promoting a fun and healthy culture across our businesses.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with restaurant leaders in BC and Ontario to support employee experience and people processes
  • Evaluating existing HR systems to ensure effectiveness and alignment with best practices
  • Leading recruitment and onboarding initiatives, including job postings, candidate screenings, and interview schedules
  • Maintaining and auditing employee records for accuracy and compliance with employment laws
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and initiatives
  • Assisting with Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) process
  • Participating in training program development
  • Providing support with employee benefits as needed
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field
  • CPHR or minimum 2-4 years in a People and Culture related role
  • Experience with and knowledge of BC and Ontario employment laws
  • Proficiencies with Push Operations, BambooHR, and ADP (an asset)
  • Preferred experience in the hospitality or retail industry
  • Strong experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
