Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Underwriter, Commercial Insurance to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Lines department, you will be responsible for analyzing complex business risks, providing expert advice, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough risk assessments using advanced technology and external data sources to inform quoting, negotiation, and acceptance decisions.
- Evaluate policy renewals based on company guidelines and retention goals, ensuring seamless business continuity.
- Maintain accurate records of decisions and policy data, ensuring compliance and transparency.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of insurance policies, processes, regulations, and audit requirements.
- Participate in regular quality assurance reviews to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive business change and growth.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including industry networking opportunities.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to manage and analyze data, reports, and other business-critical information.
